View Full Version : Daystate Mk3 problem

Collected my rifle yesterday. Shooting at the club this morning and it seems to have turned into a semi auto. Repeated pulling of the trigger fires the rifle without cocking with the bolt! Could this be due to heat? I tried a blast of air into the cylinder in case there was a bit of dirt. Made no difference. Has anybody experienced a similar problem? Any ideas?

Many thanks

Peter

Thanks guys. That's reassuring but it seems a tad odd that they're designed that way doesn't it?

Cheers

its due to the electronic trigger and solenoid fired hammer.

all the bolt does is index the mag (if u pull it back far enough against the spring)and push the pellet home.

Corkscrew is right. That is why the bolt action is so very light and smooth - it only acts as a pellet probe.
