Coming from NI I know that you have to have all airifles even less than 12ft/lbs on a FAC. Was just wondering - I already have an FAC (because I used to live there) but it does not have my recent acquisition (theoben sirocco) on it because I bought it since I moved to England and under english law a below 12ft/lbs doesn't have to be on a license.

Is there a visitors permit one can get or can I ask the english police (where I live now) to put it on my FAC my meteor (had since NI) is still on it but will probably be removed when I renew....

Thanks in anticipation for all help, i'd really like to take my gun if there is a way.

William, give PSNI Lisnasharragh (Firearms and Explosives Branch) a ring on 02890 650222 (that's the switchboard, ask to be put through to above).

You may need to leave a message for them to get back to you, but they will and they're very helpful.

Jonathan.

If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to give me a shout. BTW, what part of the province are you visiting. You might be able to combine your visit with a trip to our club.

Jonathan.
