Jims new shoot.

Just been to check out a new shoot,what a result, 2000 acres of pasture and forestry (approx 50/50). Friendly farmer who was happy to talk shooting for over an hour. He doesn't want the rabbits touched (too few) but keen for me to take on the corvid population, of which there are hundreds. He had a plink with my Rapid (land already cleared for FAC) and was impressed, until that is, I told him how much one costs <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::D--> He said I can come and go as I please and is drawing me up an agreement and map. Only 10 miles down the road too.

So I'm as happy as a pig in the thick brown stuff.

I hope the guys on here who are looking for a shoot don't mind me bragging a bit. I can remember the frustration when I had nowhere. All I can say is keep going you will get there.

Well pleased for you mate, with that knobbly on the back of the Funduro I reckon we'll cover that 2000 acres in an afternoon!
