Firstly - I HAVE NO COMMERCIAL INTEREST IN THIS PLACE!

Just thought I'd get that out of the way at the start! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->

Lubcloud rock is the airgun equivalent of a sporting clays shoot. It consist of about 17 nockover targets in an area of steeply sloped dense woodland following a circular course. The targets are as challenging as a static target can be at 20-45 yards and I went for the first time today with my youngest son (13yrs) who has not yet acquired the taste for terminating things with fur or feathers. It was very hot today and we had already done a clay shoot in the morning so we struggled a bit with the terrain - but it was great fun!. It's well worth a trip to get the youngsters shooting at semi-real targets, and I would imagine that with a group of accomplished shooters you could get a nice little competition going.

It's 2 miles from J23 of M1 in Leicestershire. They have put a lot of effort into it and are a little dismayed at the slow response. GIVE IT A GO I SAY!! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->

I heard some chaps in walkers (notts) talking about this place, must say they sounded quite impressed with it, will have to take a drive out there and have a look / shoot .
Gasman -- how much do they charge for a shoot , and how long do you get, are there any facilities on site ie toilets etc .
Darren .

Yes it is Lubcloud Farm.

I'm not sure about loos but they do a lot of other stuff like field archery so I think there must be "facilities".

I spent over an hour with my son with a gun each across the 17 targets for the princely sum of £6.00! (I think that was the evening rate) I don't think it expensive at anytime.

Highly recommended!

yes!

I'd be up for that.

Wed evenings is their only evening so far but they will open extra for a party/group ( I think....)
