Hi All,
am after a milldot scope with resonable lowlight performance, and highish mag (I realise this is a trade off).
Low light wise, I'm happy with my 50mm WTC 6.5-20, bu tno mill-dot (and also a very small space between duplex "points".
Was considering the 16 or 10x snipers, but not so hot in the gloom ??
Also the Deben Mill Pro, but don't really need variable mag ?
Currently have a 6-24 x 42 Nikko SS, great scope, but not as good as the WTC in low light....
Any ideas / recs ?
Cheers,
JB

Deben do a 10X sniper scope side wheel PX - see if you can have a look at one somewhere before buying, as they are not cheap!

what about the tasco (deben) 4-14-50 mil dot pred,i carnt tell any difference between that and my wtc 3.5 10.50 as regards low light gathering.

Hakko MP's / Deben DMP's are good with their 30mm tubes and 56mm obj.

Simmons have just brough a new version of the 44Mag 6.5-20*44 with a mildot reticle.
I already have the standard 30/30 version of this scope, and for the money it is excellent.

Thanks guys, a few to think about there.
I def like the look of the 56mm DMPs, especially as weight won't be a concern (rifle will be supported from a bipod / car door)...
Cheers,

They go for £150
Dreadful in low light. Best I've seen is one I bought of Baz - Zeiler (sp?) delightfull ladder reticule with thick or thin bars to choose from.
Shooting at 10-15 last night with it on x8

Ditto the Zieler. Top optics with a great ladder reticle (in some only). I believe they came in 4-16/6-24/8-32. Bit like rocking horse poo now though. I believe they were last on sale new about 1992 at around £300 or so for the 8-32x44 model.
