As an extension of Draftsman's poll into BBS security, I was wonderin how many people already have bought and/or sold items on this BBS?.
Il hold my hand up and say i havnt bought or sold anything YET.

How do I tick all three? Have in the past, definitely will in the future, but there are one or two people (I won't name) I wouldn't deal with.

On the whole this is a great place to buy airgun stuff.

i have brought and sold a few items on this bbs of late ,and not had any horror stories to tell.
i will always return somebodys money if they are not happy with what i have sold, for whatever reason,and would like to think that most bbs users will do the same

I would think that with such a keen bunch of writers/readers, anyone pulling a stunt would soon get sussed out and the words would get around pretty quickly. Basically then, if you get a bum deal please let us all know asp.

I would not hesitate to deal with anybody on here except for just a few............no names.
But on the whole, they are a good honest bunch and I have had a lot off these people.

I,ve sold a couple of guns and bought scopes and stuff on the BBS and have always had honest dealings and never any probs .

Same here, I have bought and sold on the BBS and could name a good few people who I would deal with again.

I have not had any horror story deals to talk about BUT I still believe a rating system similar to could be implemented. All the people I have dealt with, I will deal again and I hope they would think the same.

I also think if you can do a face to face deal, its a bit more personal. bought and sold,never had reason to complain,a great bunch of lads,theres always the ones to watch out for though,but thats true for all walks of life.if fellow enthusiast carnt be trusted its time to give up,one thing that does get my goat though is the ones who just use the boards for buying and selling and nothing els,but thats a different matter.

I agree with you a bit, but, thats the whole idea of having a "for sale" and a "wanted" section isn't it? I think the bbs would be a lot worse if we didn't have the regular sellars and what possible harm is it? I mean, a person does not have to buy anything but it is nice to have a place like this where people can buy and sell to their hearts content. No harm can be caused by this can it? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15">

ps...I have bought and sold on here quite a bit, but I wouldn't call my self a dealer by any stretch of the imagination (wish I was, I could put my PVR in now <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15">)

Despite the distance and logistics, I'm pleased to say likewise, and there are a few more I never met who sold me gear that I'd buy from again without hesitation.

HAVE TO AGREE, BUT IVE JUST GOT MY BIGGEST SALE TO DATE ON THIS BBS AND HOPETHAT THIS PERSON PROVES AS TRUSTWORTHY AS THE OTHERS I HAVE DEALT WITH.
