My youngest son has just got into field target and has got a Daystate Harrier (not the X model) although it is new.

The gun came with a fabulous stock (thumbhole cutaway) and is really light and suits him well but its no use for FT and he does not want to alter it to suit.

Does anyone know where we can get a cheap and cheerful FT stock for a Harrier. I cant find any ads for stocks other than real expensive custom jobs.

Also, does anyone recomend changing the Harrier regulator for the "Airmasters" precision job.

Thanks in advance.

Dowlings has a s/h custom FT stock for a Harrier/Huntsman, but is not cheap at around £150.
www.dowlings.uk.com (http://www.dowlings.uk.com) for contact details.

I think if you experiment with a chrono and find the ideal fill pressure, you'll have no problems with obtaining 40 consistent shots for FT. That makes an aftermarket regulator an unnecessary expense in my opinion. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->

I spoke to the guy at Airmasters and he says that the precision reg will give going on double the number of shots per fill and a much flatter power curve.

Since the Harrier will give 40+ shots with little variation I agree with you. Especially as the cost of the Reg is 175+ fitted.

Thanks for the opinion.
