Yep <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:;)-->
AA Hunter were 0.022, AA Fields were 0.032 / 34 (depends on gun/power)
These are all my actuall tested figures - from your favourite guns <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:;)-->
Use the fields mate,

BCs are calibre specific! Buddyboy is talking about 0.22, the 0.177 BCs are generally lower.

BTW Kev,
Fields vs hunters is about 1/2 a FP diff at 45 yards.
Normally I've found when hunters work best, it's either 'cos they like the smaller size (5.5 instead of 5.51/5.52), or the crown of the barrel is not A1.

BC's are not only caliber specific, but gun specific, and velocity is a factor. Theoretically at least, if Gun A shoots pellet X at a certain power level, and gun B shoots pellet X at a different level.. their BC's will be somewhat different. The only way to know the TRUE bc of pellet X in your gun is to do the math. Anything else would only be an approximation. RBest

It is very good indeed in .22 - around .034 I believe, and it really does show downrange.
Actually, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that AA Fields are the best pellet design in the universe. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->

Well has any one tried them side by side in a PCP and side by side in a srpringer?
I think AA say, Field's for PC and Hunters for springer. They are deffinitely two diferent pell's
I feel a tad happier with hunters in my TX @30/40, but thats off my knee and not sure out to 45/55.
Having said that I didn't adjust my scope to allow for the 1/2" Kev'.
More work needed.
I use .22 as well Kev'.

A while back, the most raved about pellet was the AA Hunter with Field taking the back seat. Now its the other way around! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::rolleyes:-->

Kev ,
When designing & Testing Dynamics , we went through all the shapes, over the ten years of design and preproduction.
While the Metal trade was doing metal tests.
And we was trying to find , design and build machines able to produce Dynamics
Bullet we believe is best.
Reason Air Arms Field work so well in the softness of the lead which allows it to be blown
through most gun actions and barrels.
I used to use them before getting involved in Dynamics & Exterminators
But now accept the biggest downfall is the Price.
Have had offers to have them made overseas at a fraction of UK production costs.
But started a British design and production and will continue while I have a say.
Especially as currency differences and transport costs are pushing up overseas made pellets.
Plus far easier for me , when factory is only minutes away from me.
Time will tell.
BOB/R
Al, I still find Hunters to be an excellent pellet in quite a few guns, certainly the best semi pointed I have ever used
However the Exact/Field is a stunningly efficient and accurate pellet at a wide range of power, right up to near the speed of sound if your barrel suits it, I dont know why but it works, if it is the softness of the lead then why not try the same mix Bob?
Bobs pellets can work well too, but IMO I have more confidence in the JSBs working in more guns
