Help with anodising please.

Hi All,
I have a alloy breech for a 2240 pistol, and i would like to get it anodised black. Does anybody know where i can get it done to a good standard, and quickly.

I can get it done for you, as can probably a few others who are on the board - Jon JDSB possibly.

Turn round time is about 6 days but it would have to go with other items as a batch which can delay it.

The main problem is the quality of the alluminium. If it is a casting or has too many other alloying elements in it the result will be at best a poor finish, at worst it will disolve.
