I used to really criticize the S16 but if you have seen the latest ones they really are getting there. We have found the importers don't check um, so Simon spends an hour going through the guns checking the finish and filling the bottles. Two days later we then check if they have leaked and reject any that have dropped any pressure at all. We are sending back less than 10% now, I guess if we didn't check them then 10% of customers getting Sh!t guns would be unacceptable ,but as it is we have had only 1 go wrong after delivery in a month.
We rang Simmons the importers a couple of days ago and told them in no uncertain terms that they must check them in future for everybodies sake and it looks like they are doing as promised. I rang again today to order 10 and they said they couldn't send them till next week because they were checking every gun before dispatch. I have a feeling this will reduce faults to approaching zero. As from next week you should be able to buy one from any dealer with a lot more confidence.
As a side note, I know there are a lot of people on this BBS who think they are cr*p but most of our customers who have bought the mk2 version after we have checked them seem to be pretty pleased. I took one to Rington Riflemen myself and the accuracy and quietness were stunning, really very very impressive. Plus stainless internals are heavy but strong.
Dont write the Sweet 16 off , I did but I've changed my mind. If Logun can pull their thumbs out and really go over them with a fine tooth comb as well as improving the production ( Simon from Logun and Geoff from simmons are over at the factory right now kicking arses) the gun could well become a cracker albeit 2 years late <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::eek:-->

As far as I know they import them built now. I will try to get clarification off Logun if it is a really important question
