Do you have the Webley Drop silencer to go with your Axor rifles? what is the difference between Axor and FX2000 if theres is any and will said Webley Drop silencer be ok for the FX2000???

The axsor has a female thread on the muzzle cap, whereas the FX2000 is fitted with a male thread which can accept any moderater with a 1/2" unf thread.

The axsor can be fiited with an adapter which screws into the muzzle converting it to a 1/2" male. This can be bought for £15 from JSR, BAR, Uttings, etc..

Although mine had to be drilled out to stop the pellet clipping it.

Don't know about the drop one though i assume it would have to have a male thread in order to fit the old axsor.

Thanks Mr Woody,I picked up a Webley Drop silencer for next to nothing last week,it the Webley silencer that has its bore(dunno if that the correct termywossit) off centre! Figured you may know the answer to me question you being abit of a Webley fan if I remember correctly!Totally bizzare way of fitting to a rifle I have to say!

It was handling a (used) Axsor that had initially influenced me towards opting for an FX2000... the smaller diameter of the Axsor's magazine retaining pin seemed the most immediately evident difference. That Axsor had the offset silencer, I recall it had got twisted to the side but was later tightened up ok - perhaps its offset made it more prone to getting bumped loose. Think it might have been a little bigger in volume than the more conventional 4" Webley silencer.

I have 2 different length versions of this silencer & they seem to work ok, especially the longer one. being off-set they tuck in nice with the end of the rifle.
Apart from this end, the rifle is almost the same as the FX, most of the o'rings fit both rifles.
Differences that i can think of are the barrel end, no pressure guage on the Axsor and a slight difference in the probe.

There is a good Venom conversion for the barrel end that is machined very well and has a standard 1/2 " thread on the end.(made mine shoot much better)

I think Simon at AGS (Webley spares) has one left. You can view it here:
