Hi there...I've got a question about my MkIV Airsporter trigger which I am sure one of you learned gentlemen can answer. In front of the trigger guard there are two allen head screws. What do these adjust...weight or travel...which is which? I've tried to work it out but basically I Can't. Hope you can help....gino:D

I think if you remove the stock (1 bolt through the pistol grip and 2 side screws) the action of the trigger is visable and self explanatory. ;)

If I remember correctly the front grup screw adjusts the spring pressure on the sears so the weight is adjusted with that one and the rear one adjusts the sears for travel , hope this helps but as Ian describes above taking the stock off helps to clarify things.

Thanks Guys...It's just that all references to my rifle just mention one screw....I'll have a proper test of it in the morning...thanks again

GINO - Chambers (http://www.chambersgunmakers.co.uk/BSA%20plans/BSA%20Airsporter%204-5%20plan.htm) quotes '2026' as the trigger STOP screw and '2025' as the adjusting screw. All will be revealed when you remove the action. You can actually cock the sear by hand and watch the operation of the trigger.
