Ah excellent! Thanks for posting those up. We're emigrating to Canada in another few years so I'm grateful for some early contacts.

Alberta as close to the Rockies as we can manage. I want to take up canon shooting as well; I gather they have groups in AB and BC where you can do this.

Sadly, there is no smiley for sick with envy, but I keep telling myself that we only have to defer our pleasure a little while longer and then we can get the hell away from here and go "find our neutral space" (Withnail & I).
Are you also seriously thinking of going over there?

yep soon as the boy sells this house he bought, hes keeping it for another year till the tramway is extended to him then it will go up by a $100,000 dollars he then will be looking for an acreage we will then put a cabin on it for ouselves for when we come over, property in calgary is going thru the roof he made $50,000 dollars on his first house, not bad for a 21 year old........:)

Good on ya. We're just leaving it till the youngster is through school, then we're off. Not expecting a eutopia where "everything is better", so much as a little elbow room and a bit more of a relaxed attitude to gun ownership (certainly true in the western provinces I gather).
Going for a look next year with the kids to see if we really, really like it. Be very surprised if we didn't.
