I bought a mount for a 2D Maglite at a local battery and torch specialist shop called Brewsters. It was for a 25 mm scope mount, it replaces the top part of a standard mount and when you are not using the torch it can be uncliped leaving the mount in place.
I have checked their web site but it's not shown on there.
Do you have a place like it near you?
This is what it looks like

I know it's not really helpfull but... :o

When I go out with NV, after shooting a rabbit, it can be hard to find it once you have walked over to where you think you shot it.
For that reason, I have fitted a bicycle lamp bracket (clip-on "cat eye" LED) around the body of my IR illuminator.
Just don't leave the NV turned on if you plan to use the lamp. :D
