Rangefinding problem

Now the days are a bit gloomier, all the markings on my sidewheel over 30yds are coming in different to normal, i know this is often the case, but i have never had a problem going from light to dark before. I fitted a 75mm sunshade a couple of weeks back could this be a factor? the scope is a big niko.

Yes fitting a sunshade can cause your scope to rangefind differently, it could also be the lower temperatures, a lot of people will under range at this time of year so need to adjust their wheel to compensate.
