If any of you saw my thread 'PCP For A Mate', he has now brought a secondhand rapid (sorry snapshot, he was offered gun in as new condition, spare buddy bottle, mounts, 2x 7 shot .22 mags and 1x12 shot .22 mags for £400)
Threfore, a few questions:
1) Are there any tech tips for them?
2) What pellets (presume it is .22 anshutchz) [sorry guys, i know you've probably seen lots of these before!!]
3) He's now got around £60 for a scope - he wants a mildot, IR not essential, AO prefered.... What would you suggest.......??
Thanks guys, is there anything else you think he should know (apart from the usual 'good but ugly statements':D :D :D :D)

Fireball Sailor,
I only use premiers and H & N field target in my Rapids,as to scope there are many choices and you can widen your options by looking in sales section and buying good second hand. I have Deben, Simmons and Hawke scopes on mine, you can see pic in section Ugly rapids.
I dont need to tell you what excellent gun you have chosen and so reliable at whatever type of shooting you decide to use it for.
Regards
Thumbhole :) :)

Unfortunately it's my mates, I would love to own one. Only thing is I can't afford one, I can't even properly have a go with this one as it has a leftie stock on it!!!:(

1) fill to about 175 BAR. Nothing else, they are indestructible ;)
2) AA Fields (H&N FTTs OK too, but don't fly so flat)
3) JSR have a few Varmint Mk1 2.5-10x42s left - milldot, AO, not bad optics, for about £65 - get in there quick they won't last much longer at that price !

He'd have been mad to leave it at that price.
