Hi everyone, got some good news for fellow northerners/hft enthusists. Our gun club (Furness Marksmen, located in Barrow-in-Furness, South Cumbria) held its annual general meeting last night and a proposal was voted for concerning a dedicated session for airgun users (our club shoot a variety of weapons including smallbore/black powder and plenty of other fun bits of kit!). We hope to next year host a hft competition (entry will be limited though as the range isnt massive) and we are hoping to have these sessions on a sunday afternoon aslong as the planning permission amendment goes ok failing that we will probably hold these sessions on saturday afternoon. anyway i just thought id break the news and ill post news of new developments as they happen.

Just as a final note if your interested in visiting our club we hold sessions wednesdays 6pm-9pm and sundays 9am-12pm. Please contact club secretary Les Holgate on 01229 835083 or email him at: mrmister@tinyonline.co.uk for directions and whatnot.

Thanks

I. J.

Excellent news! The more the merrier and just around the corner from us too. :D

Seriously, if theres anything Rivington Riflemen can do to help please let us know.

We wish you all the very best with this project. I know from personal experience just how much work is involved BUT it is worth it.

Well done guys. You’re going to get pretty busy.

Just a thought before you make a date for the comp, give the other NW clubs a tinkle and find out when they have events on. You should get a better turn out if everyone is free.

Cumbria  Camping  Mountains  Sheep!

Oh god the Welsh will be up there in droves.......................:D:p
