Does anyone else use Trail Boss or am I just the lone voice crying in the wilderness?

It's a low density pistol powder that I use to load down my 22/250 to range limits. It's specifically designed to work with cast bullets. I've also tried it in my .308 and it works well with both.
IMR don't adivse using it with jacketed bullets, or to use compressed loads as it gets causes pressure spikes.
Because of its low density, in the 22/250 and .308 with cast bullets, it's impossible to get enough into the case to cause pressure problems.

I us trail boss in my 44 mag LBR. I have found it to be good for low loads, 4 grains with a 240g bullet. Very low recoil with good consistency. The beauty of it is it is bulky and 4g half fills a 44 mag case. The only down side is it tends to give a grey sooting and a plastic smell when fired. Otherwise very suitable for pistol target loads, am going to try it with 357 mag soon.
