The jaws on my RCBS hammer died tonight, anyone got one they no longer want or the 3 jaw collet thingy that fits in the end?

I wonder if you can get them as spares??

Mark.
I'm pretty sure they have them in reloading solutions. If not I have a spare from the other make version. It is similar to the RCBS one, but the ring is not complete around the three jaws, you rely on the rear body to secure.
I have both the RCBS and the Qnetics?? one and the RCBS is certainly a better tool and results in far fewer blisters.

Hi Blue

I'l give Aftab a ring and see if I can get spares. The ridge inside the collar that holds in the rim stripped out of mine last night :(

If I have to I'll buy another complete hammer or try RCBS direct and see how generous they feel ;)

Bit of a bugger as I have about 20 more rounds to dismantle that wont chamber properly in one of my rifles. Serves me right for using strange brass that wasnt full length sized first :o

Mark.
If you just need a temporary one, let me know as I have 2 at the moment and just finished removing the heads from the 200 22-250 (thanks Mr Welham:rolleyes:) rounds.

just use the shell holder from your press instead of the 3 jaw collet......no more slippage
