After spending rather too much on Gear lately one of the things on my list was a 1 piece mount for my pro-sport.
Can i get away with 2 piece double screw mounts i have.
Has anyone had any problems in this area.
I am also thinking of starting out in a few competitions in the recoil class, where should i start...Apart from in the 'Wet behind the ears' section:)

It depends on the mounts. We have had some cheaper two piece mounts on a springer and the scope would move every shot you took. We are currently using the Accumounts? (i may be mixed up with the pellet name) that are sold by JSR. We have done quite a few shoots with mounts and so far have had zero probelms with them. The mounts fit firmly onto the gun.

I have a 10x44 viper in mtc's new mounts with an arrestor pin, on my PS - no problems at all.
I needed a block with pin , behind the rear mount for my TX with 10x44 viper, because the scope was creeping.

an arrestor pin does the job on 2 piece mounts
i've even had good one piece mounts slide.

I have used two piece double on my pro-sport, with no arrester pin fitted and never had problems with the scope moving, my p/s currently has a simmons AETEC 2.8-10 x44 ir fixed with a good quality SINGLE screw mount and nothing has moved,
