Two mainstays for me were.
26 grains of Varget 52 A-Max CCI BR4 primer. Superb accuracy
25.3 grains Benchmark 52 A-Max BR4 Primer. Very good accuracy and 3400 fps.

mine was hornady 224 55g v-max and 24.5 grains of vit 133 but i worked up to that to find the sweet spot for my rifle which is a savage arms .223
but its been said before every rifle is diffrent
plus you dont know me from adam how do you know any of us are giving you the correct info suppose thats the risk your gonna have to take eh rather you than me maybe you better buy the lee reloading manual and reading that before you take advice from people you dont even know

i found 50grain speer tnt federal 205 small rifle primers and varget or vit133 very effective on foxes.won,t give you a load though as it might not work with your rifle

Mine's shooting well with 25 grains Hodgsons H335, Federal primers and hornady 55 grain Vmax in lapua match brass. 3140 fps and terminal ballistics are excellent ;) . Thats's an SM pro hunter though, experimentation and start small is the way forwards for any new boom stick. They all like different stuff.
Safe shoothing.

Start at 22gn with this and work it up. Lorraines (Red Vixen), .223 Remy 700 is a tack driver at 100 yds with 22.1gn n-133 and 55gn vmax.

50g Noslers BT, 26.5g Benchmark, Fed small rifle primer and Lapua case, good for Charlie beyond the 250 mark. Use this load in my Sako Varmint so would work up to the 26.5g.
This load shoots single hole @ 100 yrds.

Hi Mick
One of the unfortunate things with reloading is that a combination of case, primer, powder and bullet which produces an excellent result in one rifle will not do so in another. You will have to find which recipe - I suggest you buy one of the reloading manuals from say Lee, Hornady or Sierra - fits your rifle best. This will take time esp. if you are new to reloading. Don't expect miracles! If this is a new rifle and you have never reloaded I would use factory ammo to set up the rifle. See what accuracy you get with that and parallel to this develop your own loads but don't use them on live quarry til you are totally confident that they are bang on.
Hope I didn't state the obvious :).
John
PS. I recommend you attend a reloading course with NRA or BASC or BDS. If you did have an accident due to a reloading error at least injured third parties could not immediately claim that you were negligent.

I have the same rifle and Nosler 55 BT's shoot very well with 25grains Varget. A-max 75 moly are worth a look too as they are also stupidly accurate through mine.

Thanks for info lads.
Seems i got lucky first time with 55gr nos.bt. cci small primers and hodgdon bl-c2 powder.
The foxes on my shoots are running scared now.
Thanks again for all your time.
Mick
