Looking around trying to get a price for number 6 or 7 lead shot for reloading but no-one seems to list it, so what is it costing at the moment for say 10kilo.
Seems that you need about 700grams for a box of 12g carts or 400 grams for .410 carts so the price of the shot is what is going to make it viable or not.
Cheers :)

I did ask them but they said their lead was expensive cos they have to import it from America.
Asked Peter Lawman today and he wouldn't give me a price 'cos it changes so rapidly'
There must be a better option.

So that would be £2.80 a box of 12g 1oz just for the shot.
Strewth, you can buy Eley Olympic Trap for the equiv of £3.50 a box of the shelf.

I've been looking in to this as well and its almost impossible to make savings on 12g stuff unless you are reloading non toxic or heavy loads.
Still reasonable savings to be made on smaller gauges though;)

Makes you wonder how there is still a market for reloading gear though doesn't it
