My friend as asked me do i want to buy a Weirrauch HW45 but i have never used a air pistol before and dont know anything about them. It fairly new and pritty much unused. How much should i pay??

Hi Neil, good choice. It is one of the heaviest pistols and a bit like the Marmite syndrome. I have a silver one with 177 & 22 barrels, it's a friggin' beaut:). I've fitted a red dot sight as the eyes ain't as young as they used to be. Maybe see if your buddy will let you 'try before you buy'. Price wise? I think they're about £225 new, so if it's in the good condition you describe maybe 160 to 180. Good luck Phil :)

Search the sales section and you will probably find the going rate is no more than £140-£150 posted.
The Weihrauch 45 is about the best spring pistol you can buy but as stated by Phil,its a marmite pistol.
Pay no more than £150...too much to buy new but a great used bargain.:)

ive had a .177 dual power model since 1991,,,ive oiled it after every use,,,and it still looks like new,,,,ive heard reports ,saying that the later models arent as good,,,but ive not handled a,,,newer model,,,,,,,mine is a great pistol,,,,very powerful,,,,built to last,,,,,,,,,but i use my hw40 pca more lately......faultless trigger,,,and half the weight
