Im thinking ahead to a semi custom job. Im wanting a .243 but was going towards a .243AI fireing 105-107gr heads. If i go with the AI option (higher velocity) how do i get the .243AI cases?
Is it a case of use a standard .243 case loaded to say min load and fire in the AI to re-form the standard cases?

No you fire a near max load in a .243 case with the bullet seated into the lands to stabalise the case.
If you use a reduced load the case will not form properly.
