has anyone had any experience with holstersupply.com? i am thinking of ordering simmons whitetail expedition 4-12*42 from them for $155 plus $45 postage, and would be grateful for any feedback on their service/reputation.

The scope arrived so panic over.
but there appears to be a minute hair on the lower half of the y-axis, can anyone tell me if the us warranty can be used in the uk?

No it can't.
Unfortunately no...In my experience anyway.
This is one pitfall of buying from the USA. I bought 3 Burris 8-32 Signature scopes and all had reticule problems. It cost me £100 to send them back.
You will probably have to send back to the US. It's expensive (double what you paid for delivery to the UK) and you may well get charged duty again if you do not fill in the correct "repair" documentation.
If you can, put up with the hair..
It may be cheaper to pay for a repair in the UK than to ship it back to the USA

cheers, it is only tiny and I can definitely live with it, seeing as the scope was only $155, $200 shipped, especially at this exchange rate.
Holster supply have been really good about finding out about simmons and stuff, so i would definitely recommend them as I am sure mine was a one off.
