I am interested to know who has tried out the .177 pellets and in what guns.
I have ordered some pellets and am curious to find out how they compare with other pellets.
I would appreciate your comments. especially from FT shooters as it is FT guns I will be using them in.

Thanks for that I am grateful
it is a problem when only coming on here at weekends I tend to miss threads as I do not always go back to where I was on last visit.

Hello Sammo
At the moment I am using JSB Exacts in a TX200, S400, Shamal, Pro Target and a Ripley AR4 - all my rifles love them. They also love the equivalent Daystate pellets, but then the JSB pellets come from the same factory in Czechoslovakia :)

I however prefer the price of the JSB Exacts :D

I got a trial tin of Exacts from the suppliers... When I opened the tin (which was wrapped in layers of bubblewrap) over half the contents had damaged skirts. Sam (ex-SBSD) will testify to this.

So, maybe I had a bad tin, or it was used as football practice at the post office. I dunno, but I'm not buying any more seeing as once you've bought the 1 trial tin, you have to buy a lot of 10 - I just don't want to risk it again.

Just as an aside, the pellets that were pristine worked well through my S400. I did fire the crushed/dented ones but they did tend to be unpredictable! :)

How much do you pay for your Exacts, For example if I were to but 25000 how much would I have to pay for these 50 tins of 500

Hello Sammo
Sorry, but I have no idea how much 25,000 pellets would cost. Why phone, or email, AirAmmo and find out?

I was so impressed by the JSB 4.52's quality not only visually but also how they perform I bought 25 tins.

I've had very few damaged pellets, less than about 30 per tin have been poor enough not to use in a competition.

I use JSB Exacts 4.52 in my Hornet, my HW77 (Steve Harper Supertwist barrel liner), HW95K (shortened barrrel), my Pro Elite and my Firebird. My brother in law also uses them in his Webley Stingray carbine.

Yes, there were some with damaged skirts, but only about 20 per tin of 500.

I'd just like to say... My tin of mostly dented JSB's was a one off. Just goes to highlight my bad luck really! :D

Or else the fact my posties like to have an kick about with anything ball shaped :(

I've just recieved my trial tin.

On inspection no bad ones, but the dome looks a smidge higher than the AA Field.

Still if they perform as good, then @ approx' 1 a tin less + free post, my order goes to AirAmmo.

Only have to move from the PC to beat the dog to the Posty' to get em';)

Yup, and I'd just like to say that the replacement tin I got through the post this morning was perfect. Not a damaged skirt in sight.

I really did have a one-off "bad egg"...

I bought ten tins of exacts and found they were well packed but unfortunately one of the end tins was quite badly dented but I was still left with 9 .75 tins,
I found they are on a par with the Lazadomes I use, but I can get my Lazadomes cheaper so think I will stick to them for my MK3.
I only bought the exacts for the EV2 but its not any better using these, thats not to say they wouldn't be better in another EV2 but thats another story.
See EV2 swaged barrel thread for that.
