JSR are doing a gunguard case @ 19.95 measuring 47.5 x 10 inches

I emailed them, and when they phoned me back I was all set to buy one, but Ed said what gun is it for, I said s200 with a scope and he said it wouldn't fit

I thought thats strange as I have a gunguard case and my s410k with a big FT scope and it fit's fine in the case of the same size. I have tried the s200 in the this case and it also fit's fine. Picture Here (http://www.jono.nildram.co.uk/aas200/cased.jpg)

I told him this but he was sure the gun wouldn't fit. I didn't want to argue with Ed so I left it, but I still want the case to keep the s200 in

I have re-checked the measurements of my case and it is the same as the JSR one

What should I do?

the external dims are only half the story thou....

If the case is shaped or the case is deep rimmed it aint gonna fit.

You need to ask what the internal dims are and also ask him why it wont fit.

I have an S200 with a scope and it ONLY JUST clears the base and top of the hard case I use - a case that is common on the market place and I have seen plenty of them in use too.

Can't quite understand it myself as the S200 is (as everybody knows) a huge rifle...

You could carefully cut a long hole around the handle with a jigsaw, then poke the scope through and use it as a handle.:D

This (http://www.jono.nildram.co.uk/aas200/cased.jpg)

Thats my s410k with big FT scope and the s200 with scope in the gunguard case.

My case is the exact same dimensions as the one JSR are selling, and either gun fits perfectly in the case (not at the same time though!)

All I want is the same as what I have, to store the s200 in...
