Is it me or has Air Arms missed the oppurtunity to put a rifle length cylinder on their new carbine thereby increasing the shot count as well as adding a little forward inertia?
And making it look a little cooler into the bargain!

do they use the 400 cyl ? if so just buy one there only around 20 - 30 pounds.

Oh, I won't be getting one. I've got all the gun I need!:D

They could've just thought outside the box a bit for that one. I think it would've drawn a line under the 410/510 differences.

They only developed it for wusses who can't manage a bolt action..... the extra weight would be too much for the little darlings..!;);):D:D

Air Arms Always advertise "you Talk We Listen" ye sure.. What about the crap pressure gauge, The outstandingly crap safety, an overall cheap build quality!!

The 510 is 410 in a cheap disguise!!

As for the new cocking action AA you will never be HW!

And I own a 410!

So who did AA get the idea from?? The only other rifles i can think at the moment that are older with similar systems are the ISP Airstream and the Whiscombe rifles. I'd be interested to know the origins of sidelever loading/cocking on air rifles:)

Someone posted about a rifle from before the EV2 so AA didn't start it but it definately wasn't HW.

There are quite a few other people and companies that did side lever well before AA.
ISP, myself made a fair few, Webley, Diana/Original, Hammerli and Titan to name a few.
