I'd just like to express my sincere gratitude publicly to Tom Griffin. We agreed a deal on his Venom Sidewinder Compact at the weekend. Tom has gone well beyond the call of duty to facilitate the transaction, I won't go into detail, but Tom knows what he has done, and for that I will be eternally grateful.
I received the rifle today, after Parcel Farce turning 48hrs into 72 :rolleyes:. The parcel was so well sealed that I had problems getting into it, I think Tom has shares in a packing tape and shredded paper company. Still, the rifle is exactly as described, i.e more minty than an entire packet of Polo's. When I got it home this evening I ran it over my Skan. After half a dozen clearing shots, using AA Field @ 8.44gn, I Recorded this 10 shot string:

Low: 782.77 / 11.49
Ave: 784.619 / 11.403
E.S: 4.63
These figures are as good as I have had from any gun, and better than any PCP that I have owned, and that includes the regulated ones.
