Lugging my Rapid around for anything longer than two hours is too knackering ... is this a sign of a steady descent into old age?

It could be nature's way of telling you that you're out of shape.

Hehe, yes maybe I am a little out of shape, although squash is helping to keep it at hand. After a recent big stint of work I'm currently laid low with flu [possibly double-pneumonia] and cannot move further than the kitchen.

I must get a sling for the rifle, just a job to know where to position it at the barrel end.

BTW, the HW95 has been looking at me with more affection recently so she's being fed with Bisley Pest Controls for a close range garden squirrel at 12 yards. Up early tomorrow for it [assuming the bubonic plague subsides].

At one point in my life I thought that I was becoming young again, as my testes began to ascend into my abdomen, I lost all the hair on my body save that on my head and my voice became three octaves higher.

Happily the 'Curse Of Youth' was lifted by Mary-Mary, our local witchdoctor.

I have never since been concerned with the daily procees of becoming older. I suggest you replace your 'Rapioid' (whatever that is) with a BSA Airsporter, which is superbly balanced and will give you a lifetime of healthful sporting joy and sportin' exercise.

Yours In Sport

I reckon you are getting older, otherwise you would live forever?
