.
As many of you may know, my day job is in the publishing sphere, and also as many of you may know (there have been several threads running about it), I have in my time penned a few books, the most recent being a book about the original Mod & Rocker scene of 1960s Britain (published last September), as in the following link.

http://www.impbooks.com/music-books/Mods---Rockers/The-Origins-and-Era-of-a-British-Scene/103

To this end then, I have finally received a few author copies from my publisher of this my latest organ (), and following the success of the other stuff I have auctioned via the BBS to raise funds for H4Hs, have decided to auction one here for the same most worthy cause, and as an added incentive, can offer to inscribe it if so wished, in my capacity as the book's author, with a dedication of the auction winner’s choice (within reason).

These books retail at £12.99 (sold over 2.500 since September already), so I would like the opening bid (should one be placed :o) not to be less than a fiver please. This auction will run until 8.30pm on Monday 29th November. Secure post will be included in with the winning bid. Good luck, and thank you for taking the time to read this thread.

Yours: Gareth.
