Potential rat shooting permission, Health and safety questune/s

Next week im going to visit a place where i believe has rats, to try to get permission to do rat pest control with an air rifle, FOR FREE, this would be done at night after the workforce has gone home, with just the security guy on. I have shooting insurance for £10 million third party liability, and i have a police OPEN license for rimfire & F A C air (this allows me to risk asses land/places for myself to shoot, if i think its safe) although i only intend to use my sub 12 ft lber there. Would the above information cover me for health and safety requirments for them to allow me to pest control with an air rifle. Id like to know the answer to this before i speak to the manager, as it could be a reason for being turned down ???. If anyone knows the answer to this, or would like to comment id like to hear from you.

They might ask for a written risk assessment. Which you can only complete fully once you have looked around the gaff.:)

if you do end up having to write a Risk Assessment, be very careful you don't tie yourself up in knots and give yourself too much hoops to jump through, or else you'll wish you hadn't bothered.

If you're asking in a round about way if your insurance covers you for the activity, what does the policy say. You might be better asking your insurance provider direct that way you will have a clear (ish) answer.
