On current form, Steve Lanyman, Pete Dutton, Dave Hatfield Richard Woods, Vinny Blackman and definitely Dave Ramshead. You can never rule out Chris Cundey, Mark Wall, young Ste Hughes, Laity, Martin Goodsall, Ian Harford (if he can get away from hosting the event) and a fair few others including K if he's back from playing with the Talibannies.

There's too many good shooters to nail it down, of the regular UKAHFT shooters there's around 20 who could win it on their day. Even big CHris has been putting in some good scores recently!

I reckon it will be me this year, forget the rest of you, me me me:D:D:D if i won it i would never ever stop going on about it and therefore they would fix it for me to alwys shoot badly and come much further down the order!!! As Charlts says , there are a good few out there on there day/days that could win the title.

Sadly not me!!!

Just wondering why the type of scope's these guys use is not mentioned in the standings, only the rifle.

The top three used leupolds last year, kieran won it using a leup the year before.

It wont make any difference what scope or guns they use. These boys have tallent.

If you lent them your gun, they would probably out shoot the owner of it?

I have seen many who think they can buy talent :D

They are the most dillusioned of all.

All the gear and no idea I believe is the phrase.

Top gear only gives you the edge if you have an edge to add to

And please dont get Laity started on scopes :-)

Either way, could you confirm it was on a public pavement please?

Perhaps you could also confirm which shop it was, and whether the person concerned was on their land adjacent to the pavement, land on which they had permission to be?

Just a thought like....:D

right chaps
being the man that i am to admit after reading various sites on uk airgun law i'm suprised to find its not an offence, really suprised.
but you need to understand seeing the pic on page 7 in january's airgunner was slightly alarming.having read and educated myself i owe all concerned an apology.still suprised that its ok.i was always led to understand that it had to be in a case it could not be fired from. also i was under the understanding its the local council or highways who are responsible for pavements hence making them public domain.

I was 'slightly alarmed' when I watched the advert for the new Jag XK the other day - it looks to be exceeding 70mph on a public motorway...
I then saw a still from the advert in a magazine and although I was interested, I didn't look at the car itself and took no notice, nor could I enjoy the message the advert offered as I was far too 'alarmed/tedious/busy questioning law' to allow myself to do that.
I then picked up a fishing magazine and was alarmed to see a picture of someone fishing, quite openly in a public place. I questioned whether he'd got a fishing license and even asked random members of the public what they thought - but they told me to stop being such an arsehole...

I consoled myself with the thought that both the car and the fisherman had probably been pictured whilst both public places were totally closed off to anyone who wasn't involved with the photo shoot. Further comforts were ensured by imagining Judge Judy standing nearby, to see all legalities were adhered to ( obviously whilst standing behind an armed response team ). And Dog the Bounty Hunter was only a phonecall away.

Can you see where I'm going with this?;)

You misunderstood yourself though, didn't you? Then after making a pointless point, you withdrew your own misunderstanding.
You can't expect not to cop a touch of flak for it now...
