We have arranged camping at our local campsite to allow competitors to camp @ the £5 agreed rate – this arrangement does not apply to the Ellie May shoot although the campsite will be open for bookings, at standard rates, over that weekend:

To obtain the agreed UKAHFT rate of £5 per pitch [FOR THE NIGHT OF 11/3/06 ONLY] you must follow this simple procedure:

• Visit the LV ground before you arrive at the campsite
• Pay us the £5 per pitch fee
• In return you will be issued an LV voucher, present this at the campsite and you will be allowed to book in at no further charge
• We will then pay the difference direct to the campsite
• There is loads of room for tents and a limited number of hardstands for caravans. Hardstands must be booked in advance with LV. If you do not book in advance you may not get a hardstand / only be offered one in a different area.
• Electricity hook-ups are available to those using hardstands - at commercial rates, see campsite office
• This deal has only been arranged for the Saturday night (11/3). You are welcome to stay on other nights but this will be at the Camping and Caravan Club standard rates.
• As the campsite does not accept admissions after 8.00pm, you must visit LV before 7.30.
• Please do not contact/book with the campsite direct, if you do you'll undo the arrangement and may well have to pay full rates – if you do LV/UKAHFT will not be liable for any refunds

Please note the C&CC Hertford site closes its gates to prevent vehicle access at 11.00PM

The campsite is just 6 minutes from the LV ground

Peter who did you e-mail? This was mentioned at the club on Sunday but no-one's seen an e-mail from you.

Re booking - there's no need to book a pitch for camping. Just follow the procedure below to get the UKAHFT rate

If you want a hardstand wait a day or two and there'll be a post on here which will give you that opportunity (we've been a bit busy with the EM shoot!)

What's the closest B&B,Travellodge etc to the LV ground Roger?
Not familiar with the area obviously so not sure.

Re nearest Travelodge I think it's Hatfield - Sparky stayed there last time and gave it a 4 leek rating :)
