( please note that it states "range approx 460 metres" ) this is cleared up when you read the manual, that states "may be dangerous upto 500 feet "460" meters.
Ok out of the Box the first thing that hit me was the weight, not the lightest of guns weighing in at 3.75 kilos but it is very balanced, and i prefer heavy(er) guns. first impressions on the blueing (hope that is spelt right) was'nt perfect there were very minor scratchs in it on closer inspection.
The stock is Hard wood finished in a deep mahogany, no scratchs or inperfections that i could notice on the stock. First things first after getting it out of the box and giving it the look over, test firing the safty mech on this gun i have to say i was impressed with and got to liking it ( after working it out )
under barrel break came away from the top barrel with a very positive feel, no free play in the arm that was noticable, the minute the underbarrel comes away from its clip, the trigger safty engages. Once you lock the load bar down to the set position a second safty leaver behind the trigger engages holding the guns piston and spring safly. if you do release the trigger safty at this point and pull the trigger the gun does nothing except click (i had to find out just incase i did this in future) at this point you have to pull the load bar a further inch to engage the first safty again. otherwise the gun refuses to let you disengage the second safty.
once loaded you then need to pull the loader barrel back that further inch, and pull the small safty from behind the trigger back to release the underleaver, To allow it to lock back to its original position. once this was done i took aim, and to my shock found the gun had a VERY accurate trigger with no play in it at all. the gun went off with a positive, but no violent kick and to my surprise a decent level of noise. after 5 - 6 shots with the gun it appeared to me that the sights on the gun were already pretty accurate without any tinkering with them ( this is good as it can take me days to zero the sights in on most guns )
overall for the money i paid, and considering its a chinease clone springer i am really happy with the gun, only time will tell how the gun goes and if it does turn out to be a decent long lasting gun or somthing that does'nt last 12 months.
