Ages ago there was a link posted that showed how to find an address for someone using the internet, tried all the obvious ways...and failed! . So can someone point me in the right direction please.

Electoral role information is way out of date. I seem to remember that it is no longer commercially available? Could be wrong though.

Since the introduction of the edited electoral register in 2002, I find that UK Info is no longer reliable. Most people in the know seem to know if they choose to go on the edited register they become 'invisible' when it comes to the commercially available electoral role.

I recently moved into a flat and found a box of photos in the loft. These photos are a 40-50 year history of a "Morgan-Smith" family.
There are 8 photo albums and some are studio shots that would have cost a lot of money in the 1950s.

www b4usearch.com will only provide info if you enter a town name. I know that a "Mark Morgan-Smith" in the photos was born around the 1960s and lives in this country, as he shows up on 192.com.

I would like to reunite this family with their photos, but 192.com don't do single searches. They will show you someone as being listed, but you have to buy credits to get addresses.

If anyone knows of a "One free search" site, let me know. I couldn't bring myself to throw these photos out.

Read their privacy FAQ before you give them *any* of your details - the site seems to exist solely to collect 'marketing details'

Do not, under any circumstances, give them a valid mobile phone number, unless you wish to receive advertising rubbish and SMS messages that may cost you money....

Oddly enough the reason I'm not on there is because I got myself removed as above. I've not had any crap from them as far as my phone number goes (I'm on TPS so that may be why) and I don't think they've spammed my email.
