I have the 6x40 version and to be honest its worth its £40 asking price.
But at the end of the day it IS a £40 scope.:D

Great scopes i have the map pro 9x50 and it serves me great,i never touch it dont check zero for weeks on end and it still shoots pellet on pellet at 30 yds bench rested,admittedly i have only ever had a map pro but cant see why spend £300+ when this one does exactly the same and generally my scores are as high as some shooters with expensive scopes,My scope is set at 9x50 too and i can see close targets as well as distant ones,Misses are my fault and not the scope,You wont go wrong mate with the hawke.:) :)

I had a 3-9x40 Map . It was a great scope for £55 and did exactly what it said on the tin......nuff said.:D

Hi,
bought a MAP Pro 4-16 x 50 from opticswarehouse, the zoom is stiff (working it in) and the finish was a bit untidy, but a sunshade hid the affected areas of thread.
Shooting .177 on an Air Arms 410, I hardly need to compensate for distance at all, easy to use. Should have got a 3-9x40, but paid only £95 new. :)

I set my zero at 30yds with scope set on x8 mag , the next mark down on the recticle is 40 and second mark down is 50. That is with .177 pellets
Worked ok for me yesterday on the range.:)

I had the 4-16x50 and to be honest, The optics are superb for the price, even on full mag. I found that the mill dot spacing was also superb for air rifle ranges aswell. I think they are really good value for the money. =)
