hi, does anyone know if the ir 100 infra red illuminators that night vision gear uk sell are any good?
has anyone on here used one?
which illuminator do you think would best suit my falcon ncs /03 night vision sight ? i am not interested in using a laser illuminator.

I have one and it is excellent. You can even get a remote pressure switch for it too.
Not had any experience with your NV.
Contact Karl at Nightvison gear he was most helpful with my enquiries and was able to point me to the right illuminator. I originally was after the 150mW(more expensive) but he persuaded me that the 100mW would be more than adequate for me.

I'm moderately confident the 100mw illuminator will allow you to see to airgun ranges of 30-40 yards and a bit more with no problem.
If you wanted to scan the field out to 200 yards, then you might want a laser. ;)

I will say that if you ever look through your night vision, with a laser illuminator being used, you will want the laser one. It's like turning on the light in the room...
The LED ones are good, but the laser ones outstanding. The difference is awesome.
