Here's a little review of my 4.5mm 12Ftp Tomahawk. It's walnut stocked and tuned from new. It's also shortstroked to soot 12Ftp better.
It's NOT a Cobra, it has the standard walnut Tommy stock and standard Webley barrel.
Finish is of course, very good, superior blueing.
It's very light, about 3.4k unscoped, that's 600-800 gr lighter than the 'competition'. It's also not too long so it has, for me, very good balance (at the rear not up front). Also prefer the light weight in FT position; those heavyweights tend to cut off my arms'bloodsupply:eek: :p
It's VERY smooth and light to cock. A very short cockingstroke(shortstroked). Also no weird mechanical noises. As expected..:D
The shooting is AMAZING: almost NO recoil, and the little recoil there is, is straight backwards and VERY quick. It's nothing short of a DELIGHT to shoot!
Of course no springtwang at all, as expected, just a 'TWOK' is heard.
Venom did a GREAT job!
Trigger is very good as well. I had to fiddle with the adjustment a bit, it had some 2nd stage creep. Now it doesn't anymore. Triggeraction is light and has nice short stages. I don't like those long AA and HW triggerstages.
Accuracy is amazing imo. I've shot 1.2cm edge-to-edge 5 shot groups at 25m with it, in FT position and I'm not a very good shot! Also at 50m ,ragged holes! Amazing! And with amazing easy, mostly due to the lack of recoil.
The Webley barrels áre said to be very pellet fuzzy so you'll have to do yr testing to get the best out of a Tommy. Mine shoots excellent with Lazapells.
I'm used to it of course, but many people still feel The Tommy is lively to shoot, due to it's very light weight. That's probably also true for this 12Ftp version, but it certainly is true for my FAC Tommy. So they're pretty hold sensitive. Bút if yr willing to do yr part, you'll have a VERY accurate rifle! A nice competitor for HW I'd say!
+great looks
+good trigger
+light and manageable
+good balance
+very accurate

-sparepart availability?
-expensive (here in Holland)
-hold sensitive due to light weight, especially the FAC version
-pellet fuzzy; requires testing
-slippery buttpad

I'll add some group and rifle pics later on.

And here's a pic of a group I shot with it, 25m, FT position, Lazapells:
The small group above it in the carton card is the same group but better visible; the carton card was behind my printed target. The coin is the smallest coin we have, a 1 eurocent..group is about 1.2cm edge-to-edge, 5 shots.
Also some chrono reading I got with the rifle:
10 shots with the new rifle at Venom's:
standard deviation velocity: 3.32fps
standard deviation muzzle energy: 0.10 Ftp

About the standard (untuned)Tommy I have to add, they don't have springtwang from new either and are allready pretty smooth to cock.Trigger is also good.

Well, it's delayed unfortunately..it wás ready to go, but they forgot to add some engraving so it has to be stripped, degreased, engraved and reblued again. That'll take about an extra month or so.
