I have a dedicated rifle with NV scope that only comes out after dark.
I use different rifles for daytime shooting or lamping.
A dedicated NV scope can often have a doubler lens fitted to boost the magnification (although it doesn't quite "double" the mag).

i would go for B
its cheaper if you buy a cheap monocular you can always send it to DOGFOX on here to put a cage on it for ya
its better than spending £300 aint it :D

The add-on is more versatile, and IMO a better product because it's closer to using a day time scope which is something you are used to using.

If you have no experience of either systems, it would be better for you to look through both before you commit one or the other. I have to say though, I've never once demo'd an add-on system and had someone say they preferred their dedicated unit.

Actually there one. But his dedicated kit was a Gen III Kite, which he sold anyway, because it wasn't high enough mag at x4.
