I'm no expert but I think you will find you need it to focus the unit and scope ;)

AO scopes are not preferred, but sidewheel scopes are. ;)
Merlin Tactical fixed 10x mag
Merlin 4-14x56 IR
AGS Compact 4-14x42
AGS swat 3-12x44 (more like 4-15x imo:rolleyes: )
AGS Swat 4-16x56
Bushnel Banner 4-12
Bushnel Banner 6-24x40 (i thought it was ok but others slated it:confused: )
Bushnel Trophy 4-12
Bushnel Legend 5-15x40
Bushnell 4200 6-24x40 (suffers from slightly small image but very clear:) )
Nikon Buckmaster 4-14x40
Add to this list,
MTC Viper 4-16x50
MTC Viper 6-24x56
:) :)
I would expect your Legend to be okay, as it's one of the family. ;)
The first scope I tried an add-on system with, was a Hawke 3-9x40. [IIRC.] The NV worked okay at 3-6 mag, but was cr@p beyond that. It created a view that scopes that couldn't be focussed at different distances, were possibly not suitable. Scopes that have been reparallaxed for closer distances, seem to work okay. [Ref Bushnell scopes listed.]
Sending a scope to me will cost (probably) £5-40 each way with RMSD. I'm happy to check your scope for suitability, FOC. :D You pay the carriage, I'll do the rest. It'll also help to build up a 'master list' of suitable scopes.... ;) :D
