scope mounts for a simmons white tail and a cz american .17hmr

Iv just bought a new gun (CZ 452 american) and a new scope (simmons white tail 6.5-20 x 50) and im looking for some good solid scope mounts go go on the gun.

Anyone got any recommendations?

I will soon be faced with the same situation.
You will need high mounts probably double screw for security as the WTC is a big scope.
I have one ready for my .17HMR.
If you look around the bbs images and Rimfirecentral .com you will find many images and helpful advice.

Umm, yes i am experienced, but every scope mount i have had have been poor quality and causes it to lose zero if its knocked even the slightest.

I have been recommended the hawk mounts so im going to give them ago.

I would try sportsmatch, have a look at their website

if you look at specifications, it lists the sizes of scope they work with, or you can measure you current set to get an idea of height.

It doesnt make sence? it refers to the CZ American 452 to have 11mm dovetails, the proceeds to state that some models (Classic) has the 3/8 " dovetails

Done a search on this forum and alot of people were having problems with incorrect alignment with these mounts.

Sportsmatch mounts will fit 11mm & 3/8 dovetail, i changed to sportsmatch from bkl mounts on my varmint as i was getting around 2'' of crossover @ 100yds with the bkl's from a 50yd zero. I'm not familiar with this particular scope but if it has objective end parallax you will need high mounts, dimensions are listed on the sportsmatch website.

Sportsmatch Reachforward 2 piece High 1"

2 piece, High hight mount to fit 1" scope with up to 56mm lens, For 9.5-11.5mm dove tail Base. Reach forward by 25mm.

Spoke to sportsmatch uk again, assuming that it is 3/8 " (9mm) then id best go for the HT08 Double screw 50mm mounts which have the removable recoil pin..
