Whats the specs on your mono if you dont mind me asking ?
Also, got any details on the cage your using (price, where from etc) ?

The scope is an NVEC MANTIS (rare as hens teeth)
OMNI IV 64lpmm MX-10160A
And the cage is a day and night converter from this company

The mono has a built in adjustable 150 mW IR Laser

And the cage is a day and night converter from this company

Thanks for that Glen, will definately look into that cage seems ideal for what im after :D
As for the mono, nice bit of kit that. Bet the pics dont do the image quality justice :)

You're right about the image quality,the photo is crap compared to what it's really like and the light gain is awesome.

Glen you put us all to shame with kit such as that.
If its better than that PVS unit I had a go with then it certainly must be something.

Is the cage the part that holds the NV to the day scope? If so does this not come with the NV?

With UK sourced equipment, usually the answer would be "yes". Glen bought his equipment from a mate and it didn't come with an adapter. ;)
