Question?

Are doublers worth it?
Obviously have 4.5 - 5 x mag is better than 2.5, but how much picture degradation do you get, can this be fixed (to a certain degree) by beter illumination?

Also do the Yukon doublers (50mm) ,which are fairly widespread, fit the Soviet Bizzzzzar 50mm NV scoped (Vons?)

Thanks

Pete:)

I just fitted a doubler which was actually a video camera tele-converter (cheap off 'that' auction site) to my NVRS. Made an adapter up out of some delrin bar.

Not had the chance to try it in anger yet, but there is definitely a fair bit of degradation with this option.

Piccys of the setup are here; http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170385

I will try to take some comparison photos tonight.

Gavin,

You don't do anything in the dovetail to weaver range do you;)

nvscopes do a nice low-profile dovetail to weaver (dovetail rifle, weaver scope). Keeps the eye line reasonable.

Usual disclaimer, no affiliation, happy customer yadda yadda......

Thanks for the heads up on NVScopes dovetail to weaver.

The slight problem I have is....is it too low profile to clear the S200 mag.
