NV Scope

I am looking to get a nv scope,starting from scratch here so can anyone recomend anything(got a little bit to spend;) )plus can anyone tell me why the mag.is so low on these or am I reading the specs. wrong,cheers

Historically the mag is low because of the limitation of the optical system. Unlike 'day' systems they can't run the length of the (night) scope [where would you put the tube] and NV is generally shorter than the current wave of (30mm tubed) dayscopes anyway......
