Just wondering if anyone also collects/uses older firearms or shotguns. As I have seen very little on this side of collecting here.
I know that baz has a BSA sportsman 5 that he uses in preference to the more modern firearms he could no doubt have. I personally use a 90 year old Browning shotgun as my regular gun, but that could just be that I am tight.:)

Besides airguns I also collect Flobert guns; little shotguns & salonpistols in 6 & 9 mm rimfire and I also have a fair collection of vintage .22 rimfire rifles.

Have a few interesting things on my SGC
1930s Churchill 20 bore BLE.
1890s Tolley 10 bore hammer, damascus
Very odd French chassepot rifle converted to a 16 bore.

My normal use shotgun is an indeterminate aged Spanish BLNE, would like to change that to an English gun at some point, not really in a hurry though.

Hi mjohno,
I am quite fond of my 12 bore Browning auto 5 1960's vintage.Built like a tank and weighs like one.It is still lighter than my scoped Diana 54.
Don't hunt any more so its weight is supported by the rack now:D
It is a keeper even though there are modern guns that are just as well made.:)
