A couple of days ago I got the silencer for my Daystate X2 Sports. The rifle was very noisy, but now it´s incredibly quiet. I used to have a Weihrauch silencer on the rifle, but I had many clipping issues, I changed it twice but I didn't solve the problem. So I went for a push fit silencer from Jon and I´m glad I did, the new silencer is a lot better than the Weihrauch, it works better and the finish is great. I live in Chile, so here it is impossible to find accessories for my rifles, but Jon was very kind and he had no problems sending it to Chile. I´m looking forward to buying more silencers from ###########, thanks Su & Jon

Hi
Im in New Zealand and silencers are readily available here but to date I haven't found any that work on airguns as well as Jons.
My 2 cents worth

why? rabbits ect arent scared by the sound of the gun, they run from either the sound of the pellet hitting its mark ie head or by the pellet hitting an area close t them, hence the reason that if you miss over the top a rabbit will often not bolt

The reason i am asking for something a bit quieter, is thta I have an older AA silencer (i think) fitted to my S410 and it was considerably louder than my mate brand new AA oferring.
I have since given it the hair curler treatment, which helped alot, but it still remains louder.
If I got a new one, I would be tempted to go for a custom job over a production model

Your 100 looks the business, where did you get the stock done? I dont think my silencer/shroud is a matt version like yours though(at least in your link it looks matt!). Makes me even more eager to get it on the rifle.:)
Ill have to pop some pics up when its done!

the stock is a GINB stock
I worked with Jon on the design of the full length shroud for the HW100, the pics on his website are of my rifle before all of the changes. you will notice the prototype has the standard cylinder, the mkII has the V-Mach cylinder now it has the new stock too.
I asked for matt as it is a hunting rig, in the slideshow it shows the neoprene cover I have had made for it, saves it getting scratched.

I have one fitted to my S410k Custom. Jon was more than happy to make me a bispoke silencer (with a gloss finish and brass end cap). It is without doubt the "bees knees".:)
O' yeah, and it's whisper quiet too:D

It seems that tiscali (our new ISP) are having problems with thier email server, sorry if any of you have not had a reply from me but it seems they are all flying round in email outer space at the moment and will be delivered when their server is fixed (no use to you or us i know!)
I think that this is a problem that tiscali broadband have had for a while, unfortunately it has now affected us!! (should have stayed where we were)

:D My Barrel shroud and built in silencer arrived this morning.
Fantastic bit of kit, built to order by ###########, absolute perfect fit and matt black. The silencer is as good as the HW one that comes with the gun which is no mean feat!
Overall diameter is 22mm, slips perfectly over the steel of the HW100 and screws right up to the hilt of the loading mecahanism.

I think you have the wrong company as we have not made a silencer for you. We have records of everything we have made and have only made one silencer for an AGS PCR1.
Thank you

Agreed. And more than helpful.
Example: Jon asked me to measure accurately the diameter of my barrel so the shroud could be custom drilled to fit exactly. Of course you would assume this is easy, get out a ruler and give it your best shot...I did, but its not nearly accurate enough.
Jon suggested that he send me his own micrometer so it could be done properly!
You dont get service that good in too many places!!

the only thing with having a silencer on a springer is its only going to be cosmetic,90% of the nopise is from the spring and piston...
