The SGC Speedmaster, by Dave Bogg (Ex RSM, The 2nd Battalion the Gay Gordons (V)) and editor of 'Shooting Fantasy and Science Fiction'.

When I was in the Army I had the choice of pretty well any kind of gun I wanted. As if that wasn't enough, Eugene Stoner respected my expertise enough to ask me my opinion of any new designs he had in mind. I was also regarded as 'a bit tasty with a rifle' by cognoscenti of the PR circuit. Of course, this was in the 'Glory Days' before the Firearms (Amendment) Act (1988)....

(for the rest of the review, pick up any edition of Gun Mark or Shooting Sports printed in the last five years or so and look for a big picture of plastic/pot metal rifle with lots of things bolted on to it).
