A genuine original you might get away with under sec 7.3. But you would have to leave it at Bisley if you want to fire it.

Bearing in mind He's in NI, where pistols are not banned, do the original answers still apply?

We can still own pistols but finding one can be a problem.

No problem so long as it's on the obsolete cartridge list and you don't want to shoot it. If you want a Smith and Wesson you have to find it in Russian calibre.

Didn't know there was a BP section here, I have a lot of BP guns :D

As Targetx says you are in NI so pistols are not completely banned over there, just a little hard to get approval I understand. So you can possibly have one.

You can home load most stuff with BP or equivalent. I load .38spl with 777 for a light load for a junior shooter. Tis a bit messy mind. This is for a Rossi underlever.
