Is there a site with details anywhere, tried googling all sorts of things but getting nowhere.
I intend to enter just for the experience, (if the dates don't clash) but cannot find any information about it.
Dates, Venue, Entry etc.
Any help much appreciated.
cheers

Hi mate. I think it runs from 22nd August through to 24th but I can't find anything either. Putting 'World Championships 2008' threw nothing up on the NIFTA site. The dates I've given I read on a American site.
"Northern Ireland will be hosting the 2008 Worlds.

Dates are 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August. City is Armagh, which is South of Belfast. Web site is http://www.nifta.com/ I was impressed by SAs approach and it would be nice if we did have a dress code. Would be even nicer if we had enough American shooters that would travel over to compete as a team."
I think info will be more available closer to the time.

Hello lads, the www.nifta.com website manager has not been able to update the site, it should be ready by end of next week with full details. It is basically the same details as the Irish Open was this year, same venue etc. Send any queries my way and i will keep you posted.

I believe those are the dates for this year's Irish Open and not next year's Worlds. I could be wrong but you might want to double check before making plans in stone.

Any idea if the PSNI will be waiving the rifle fee like they did for the Open this year?
Still had to apply but it didn't cost.
